Get help

Email tanner@meshvault.ai. Include the judge name, what looks wrong and what you expected. Do not include private case or client information.

To report a profile problem from the app, open the profile, scroll to Data source and tap Report a problem with this profile. That opens this site's support page in your browser. Nothing is filled in or sent for you, so email the address above with the judge name.

Questions and answers

Do I need an account?
No. The app has no sign-in, no purchases and no ads.
Where does the information come from?
From CourtListener, a project of Free Law Project, and related public court records. JudgeFinder is not affiliated with CourtListener, Free Law Project, any court or any government agency, and it is not an official government app.
Is this legal advice?
No. The app shows public court record metadata. The counts on a profile are numbers of docket records in the dataset. They are not a ruling analysis, a bias score or a prediction. Check the original court records before you rely on anything in the app.
A profile looks wrong or out of date. What do I do?
Tap Report a problem with this profile to open the support page, then email the support address with the judge name. Corrections are checked against public sources. Response times are best effort.
A judge is missing.
The app does not include every court or judge. Tell us who is missing and we will check the source data.
The app says "Too many requests. Please try again later."
The server limits how many requests each internet connection can make in a minute. Wait a minute and try again.
The app shows "Offline copy" with a date.
The app could not reach the server, so it is showing a copy it saved earlier. Pull down on the directory to refresh when you are back online. Offline copies can be out of date.
How do I remove what the app stored on my phone?
Open the Saved tab and tap Clear downloaded records. This removes downloaded copies and keeps your saved judges. To remove a saved judge, open the profile and tap Remove saved judge. Deleting the app removes everything.
Does the app work on iPad?
Yes. On iPad the directory is a sidebar and the profile opens beside it.

What the app stores and sends is described in the app privacy policy.
